Our exclusive skin enhancement protocol
G Touch is a multimodal treatment protocol developed by The Ghanem Clinic for smoothing out facial wrinkles and textual irregularities, as well as addressing pigmentation issues such as sun damage, spider veins, blemishes and skin redness. This protocol is based on Intense Pulsed Light technology and features two distinct modalities that we combine to achieve optimal results.
The G-Touch protocol
Pulse Dye Laser for Skin tightening and smoothing
Intense Pulsed Light, in a low fluence non-ablative manner, is passed through the outer surface of the skin (the epidermis) to penetrate the under-layer of the skin (the dermis). Once in the dermis, the pulsed light energy stimulates a cell called a fibroblast to produce your own new collagen. Over several treatments, this new collagen smoothes and softens the appearance of your wrinkles, pore size and textural irregularities.
Pico Laser for pigmentation issues
We use a picosecond pulsed light laser to create intense photothermal impacts in trillionths of a second. The high intensity flash of light is emitted at three wavelengths: specifically to target the chromophore and address pigmentation issues. The laser energy is selectively absorbed by pigment particles, breaking them up to be eliminated by the body’s immune system. The treatment will gradually erase brown spots, sun damage, melasma, acne marks, and freckles as well as tattoos on the face and body. This technology minimises thermal damage, resulting in minimal discomfort or downtime.
The Treatment Process
Protective eyewear is worn during treatment. Numbing cream can be applied beforehand. The device headpiece glides over skin delivering brief pulses of light. There may be mild snapping sensations and heat. Redness and minor swelling occur temporarily after treatment sessions. Some pigment darkening and flaking off occurs during the week following treatments.
Results
Recently published studies indicated that IPL could improve the appearance of wrinkles, pore size, textural irregularities, and vascular and pigmentation blemishes in more than 90% of cases. Â Results should be noticeable within the first week following treatment and improve progressively over the next 6 weeks.
